Description

Hayland Farmhouse is an 18th-century building located on Shenley Farm Road in Smarden. It is two storeys high, with a ground floor made of red brick and tile-hung upper storeys. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, featuring an eaves cornice. The facade includes two sash windows that retain their vertical glazing bars. The entrance has a doorcase topped with a flat hood supported by brackets.
