Description

Candlemass Cottage is a Grade II listed building located on Church Lane in Kingsnorth. It consists of two parallel ranges. The south range likely dates from the 17th century and has been refaced with red brick, which is now painted on the ground floor, while the upper part is tile-hung. It features a hipped tiled roof and two casement windows, along with a brick chimney breast on the west wall. The north range is a 19th-century addition, designed to mimic timber-framing with its first floor oversailing.
