Description

The Church of St Michael is a Grade I listed building located on Church Hill in Kingsnorth. It was largely constructed in the 15th century, although it features some earlier elements. The church is built from Kentish ragstone and includes a chancel, nave, south porch, and a square west tower that has brick buttresses and an octagonal turret. Inside, the church boasts a crown post roof. The churchyard is notable for its 18th-century headstones, which feature motifs such as a skull, cherub, hourglass, heavenly trumpet, and the Book of Judgement.
