Description

Place Farmhouse is a timber-framed building dating from the 16th century, which was refaced in the 18th century with red brick and grey headers. It is two storeys high. A notable feature of the north-west front, below the eaves, is a massive beam arranged as an arch, supported by brackets at its angles; this was originally a tie beam. The roof is tiled and hipped. There are two casement windows on the first floor and two five-light casements on the ground floor. A 19th-century weather porch is present.
