Description

Foxen Farmhouse is a medieval hall-house, believed to have earlier origins. It is a timber-framed building set on a stone base, with the ground floor refaced in red brick and tile-hung above. The narrow central window bay is recessed, showcasing its exposed timbering, and features overhanging eaves supported by curved braces along with a pointed wooden doorway. The roof is hipped and tiled. On the first floor, there are three casement windows with small square leaded panes. Inside, the farmhouse retains exposed beams and an original opening leading to a buttery or pantry.
