Description
The well-house in the grounds of Hales Place is a small red brick building dating from the early 16th century. It features crow-stepped gables at both ends and is located in the garden to the north of the main house. This structure is illustrated in Nathaniel Lloyd's "History of English Brick-work." Hales Place and the other listed buildings in its grounds form a group.
