Orchard Cottage is probably a 17th-century timber-framed building that was refaced in the 19th century. It is L-shaped and has two storeys. The ground floor is made of red brick, while the first floor is tile-hung. The roof is hipped and tiled, featuring a 17th-century chimney stack. The building has four Dering windows.
