Description

This early 19th-century building consists of four properties, numbered 38 to 42, on the east side of Tower Street. Constructed of red brick with grey brick banding, it rises to three storeys and has basement levels. Each property features a single window with sash glazing bars. The original entrances have six-panel doors with raised and fielded panels, surmounted by a fanlight with a radiating bar design, set within cast-iron frames. Number 38 has a later entrance on its side elevation.
