Description

The pediment sculpture located to the north of the Prince Consort Library in Aldershot dates from around 1857. It is attached to the library on its northern side and features the Royal Coat of Arms in high relief, crafted from Portland Stone. This sculpture was previously situated within the pediment at the center of the Officers' Mess building at West Cavalry (Willems) Barracks.
