Description
A row of cottages dating from the 18th century, altered in the 19th century and restored in the 20th century. The cottages are built of rendered brick, with a thatched roof. They are of irregular construction, each cottage originally consisting of two bays and having 1½ storeys. The central cottage slightly projects, and there is a 20th-century one-bay addition at one end, set back. A gabled porch in the C19 or C20 style is located centrally and to the left-hand cottage. The windows are generally 3-light casements, with C20 2 and 3-light casements also present. On the first floor, eyebrow dormers are present except on the left-hand cottage, which has a 2 and 3-light casement under the eaves. The roof has a ½-hipped section to the right and a hipped addition to the left. Ridge stacks are located between the cottages, and a stack is on the front wall at the left-end corner.
