Description

The wall east of Gainsborough Court is a 'Crinkle-Crankle' wall dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from red bricks and features terra cotta saddleback coping. The wall is half-brick thick and has piers at intervals, with a gateway located towards the northern end. It stands at 2 meters high and was formerly part of the walled garden of Ridgeway House.
