Description

This is a two-story terrace of buildings dated to the 16th, 18th, and 19th centuries, situated on the north side of Odiham High Street. The eastern portion of the terrace, up to the door of number 8, was constructed in the 19th century and features a hipped slate roof, two windows, and an opening for carriage passage. The walls here are painted brickwork in a Flemish bond pattern. Modern casement windows are present, with one original sash window above the carriage opening. Number 6 has a plain door in the carriageway opening, serving as a side entrance.

The main block of the terrace is timber-framed, with earlier jetties concealed by a brick front dating to the late 18th century. The roof is covered in red tiles, and at the rear there are four gables of differing heights, plus a catslide roof. Upper-floor windows include casements, two of which retain old leaded lights. The ground floor has three sash windows and one casement, the latter being original.

Number 8 has a plain door. Number 10 features a six-panelled door with an architrave, a fanlight above, and a canopy supported by carved brackets. Number 12 incorporates an 18th-century shopfront with a bow window set on a brick base, a carved frieze and cornice on brackets, and panelled pilasters. Number 14 has an early 19th-century shopfront, characterised by an entablature on three pilasters, a narrow fanlight above a flush-panelled door.
