Description
The Church of St Andrew, built in 1871 by architect Henry Clutton, is a small chapel constructed of flint and stone in the Decorated Gothic style. It features a tiled roof, with the nave and chancel combined into one space, and a central octagonal fleche covered in copper. The roof is adorned with decorative ridge tiles. A notable feature is the 3-light west window, which has curvilinear tracery. To the north, there is a vestry with a hipped roof and a pair of circular chimneys, while the south-west side includes a porch. The nave windows are designed with ogee-headed cusped lights, and there is a rose window at the east end. A bellcote with a gabled roof is located to the north. Inside, the church retains a painted ceiling, woodwork, and original pews.
