Description

High Bridge is an early 19th-century, two-arched bridge over the River Hart, designed in the Jacobean style with details that reflect those of Bramshill House. The bridge features four-centred arches with three half-octagonal embrasures above the cutwaters. Continuing with similar spacing, there are two simpler cutwater abutments that support the side walls. The structure is built of red brick in English bond, with stone dressings. Long straight parapets create a continuous stone balustrade, which ends in octagonal turrets.
