Description
Le Breton Farmhouse is a 14th-century house that was built after the Great Manor at Rowner was destroyed by fire. It is two storeys high and constructed from Binstead stone from the Isle of Wight. The farmhouse features a central first-floor projection above a porch, which is made of timber framing with brick nogging that was added in 1548. It has an elaborate chimney stack and a tiled roof, with a gabled north end and a half-hipped south end. The windows are casements.
