Description
Manor Farmhouse is a building that dates from the 17th, 18th, and 20th centuries. It has an L-shaped layout with a later two-storey infill at the angle and modern single-storey extensions to the east. The southeast front is symmetrical, featuring one window on each side of a central entrance that has a small modern circular light above it, along with modern extensions to the east that are single-storey. The house has a steep hipped tile roof with a rectangular chimney that supports three diagonal and separate flues. The walls are made of red brick in English bond, with a cement-covered band at the first floor, a high plinth, and evidence of altered openings. The windows are three-light casements, with 18th-century windows above and Victorian mullions and transoms on the ground floor. The entrance features a six-panelled door set in a solid frame. On the long west elevation, there is exposed timber-framing in the upper walls with herring-bone brickwork infilling, while the ground floor is constructed of flint and brick. There are two dormers with casement windows and a modern timber porch.
