Description
Sherrington Manor is a T-shaped house with modern additions, located in Selmeston. The west wing dates from the 17th century or earlier and is two storeys high with four windows, constructed of red brick and topped with a tiled roof. The north-south wing, originally timber-framed, was rebuilt in the 18th century using red brick with alternating grey headers, and it has a higher elevation than the west wing. This wing features a hipped tiled roof and sash windows with intact glazing bars, along with two 19th-century bays on the ground floor. The manor also has a gabled stone porch with a wrought iron gate, and it is two storeys tall with six windows. There are modern additions to the south and west of the building.
