Description

Chequers is a square house dating from the 17th century. It has two storeys and an attic, with three windows on each front and one dormer facing west. The south front is constructed of red brick, while the west front is tile-hung. The roof is steeply-pitched and hipped, covered with tiles. The windows are casement style, and there are two modern bays on the west front.
