Description

Stone House is an early 19th century house built in the style of Saxenbury Lodge, which was the dower house of Eridge Castle and has since been demolished. The house is two storeys high and has three windows. It is constructed of ashlar and is flanked by octagonal buttresses. A castellated parapet tops the building. The first floor has casement windows with glazing bars, while the ground floor has French windows, also with glazing bars. A pointed doorway provides access to the house.
