Description

Harmers is an 18th-century building originally known as the Round House. It was initially the workshop of Jonathan Harmer, a stone mason and potter, before being converted into a residence. The building is stuccoed, with some sides featuring tile-hanging. The ground floor appears to have once been an open arcade, consisting of a central carriage archway with a depressed head and narrow pedestrian arches on either side, all flanked by wide pilasters and now glazed. There are two cornices above and a large lunette window in the gable end.
