Description
Egypt House is a 17th-century or earlier timber-framed building that has been substantially altered. Originally constructed with a timber frame, it was later refronted with painted brick on the ground floor and tile hanging above. The roof is tiled, with a pentice to the west half of the north front. It is arranged in an L-shape and has two storeys with four windows. Casement windows are set into the facade, and a brick chimney breast is visible on the west wall.
