Description
Heronsdale Manor is a T-shaped house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. The building is faced with red brick on the ground floor and has tile-hanging above, while the east front was refronted in the early 19th century with grey headers, red brick window dressings, and quoins. The front features sash windows with intact glazing bars, while other windows are casement windows. There is a doorway with a flat hood above it. A notable feature of the house is a group of six octagonal red brick chimney stacks located at the crossing of the T. These stacks are set on moulded bases with projecting caps made up of eight concave sections, consisting of one central stack surrounded by five others.
