Description
Hollis Street Farmhouse is an impressive building dating from the 17th century or earlier, which was refaced with red brick in the 18th century. The first floor of the end window bays is tile-hung, featuring the trace of a moulded bressummer below. The section between the end bays, which contains three windows, projects slightly and has a painted stringcourse. The farmhouse has a moulded wooden eaves cornice and a steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof. It includes some casement windows with small square panes, as well as sash windows with intact glazing bars. There is a chimney breast at each end of the building. A modern porch with a pediment has been added. The farmhouse has two storeys and five windows.
