Description
Nos 224 and 226 on High Street are a single building from the 18th century, featuring two storeys and an attic. The facade has three windows and two dormers, constructed with grey headers and red brick dressings, including quoins. The building is topped with a tiled roof and has a dentilled eaves cornice. The glazing bars are missing. The doorway includes a rectangular fanlight, a flat hood above, and a door with six fielded panels. There are bay windows on the ground and first floors on either side of the doorway, although the ground floor bay window on the north side has been replaced by a modern shop front.
