Description

Parkhurst is an L-shaped building with a north-west wing dating to the 17th century or earlier. This wing is timber-framed with painted brick infilling; the ground floor has been rebuilt in painted brick. It has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows, displaying two storeys and two windows. The south-east wing dates to the early 19th century and is constructed of ashlar with a rippled slate roof. It features sash windows with glazing bars. A doorway is distinguished by Doric pilasters, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door of six fielded panels.
