Description
These two lodges with a connecting arch and gate are located to the northwest of Sheffield Park. They were likely built around 1779 and are attributed to the architect James Wyatt. The lodges are constructed of ashlar and are small, each being two stories high with a single window. The archway between them has a depressed head and a castellated parapet. A pair of finely wrought iron gates are present. The lodges feature pointed windows on the ground floor and round windows on the upper floor. Later additions include a single story and window to each lodge on the north and south sides.
