Description

Kitchingham Farmhouse is an L-shaped building dating from the early 16th century. The west wing is timber-framed with plaster infilling. The first floor of this wing projects, supported by a corner bracket, and is now clad in wide, bell-cast tile hanging fixed to wide brackets. The south wing retains some original timbering exposed in the north wall, but is otherwise refaced with red brick with grey brick headers alternating in each course on the ground floor, and tile hanging above. The roof is tiled, and there are casement windows. The west wing has three windows, while the south wing has four. Internally, the roof features a queen-post.
