Description

Harriet House is a 16th-century timber-framed building in Sedlescombe, originally known as The Work Box. The timber frame was later refaced with red brick, and the roof is tiled. A weather vane shaped like a flag, bearing the date 1687 and the initials ā€˜M I E’, is positioned on the roof. The windows are casement type. The doorway has a flat hood over it, and the door itself consists of six fielded panels. The ground floor has been built out to the north of the building.
