Description

76 and 77 High Street is a building that was originally an inn, dating from the 15th to 17th century. It has a timber-framed structure that was refaced with stucco in the 18th century. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows, with the center window being a twin window. There are four dormers, along with a cornice and parapet. The glazing bars are intact above the ground floor, although the shop fronts are modern. Additionally, there are extensive cellars beneath the premises.
