Description

Barnhurst is a building located on the west side of London Road in Hurst Green. The southern portion of the structure dates back to the 18th century and has been altered in the 19th century. It stands two storeys tall and features five windows. The exterior is made of red brick, with a string course and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The glazing bars are missing from the windows. There is a large later porch with a pediment above it. Additionally, there are 19th-century additions at the rear of the building to the north.
