Description
Apsley Court, formerly known as Steellands, is a late 17th century building that was refronted in the 19th century. It consists of two storeys and an attic, featuring five windows and three hipped dormers. The front is made of red brick, accented with a stone string course, rusticated quoins, and window surrounds. The back and sides are tile-hung, and there is a wooden modillion eaves cornice along the roofline. The hipped tile roof completes the structure. The windows are fitted with plate glass, and the 19th century doorway is notable for its large curved hood and semi-circular fanlight.
