Description

The Old Police House is a half-timbered building dating from around 1830. Originally the local Police Station, it is two storeys high and has four windows. The construction combines red brick with grey brick headers, and a stuccoed string course runs along the facade. An eaves cornice sits above, and the roof is covered in slate. The windows retain their original Venetian shutters and glazing bars. A modern glazed porch has been added.
