Description

This is an 18th-century or earlier house that has been altered, particularly in the 19th century. The ground floor has been built out at a later date and refaced with painted brick, while the upper portion has roughcast rendering imitating timbering. The roof is tiled and hipped. The original glazing bars are intact on the first floor. The building was formerly known as The Admiral Vernon Public House.
