Description

The Schoolmaster's House at Ticehurst School was built in 1846 as part of the National Schools. It has a half-H plan and consists of one storey with an attic. The building features four windows and is constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The projecting wings have gable-ends adorned with fretted bargeboards, and there are two similarly gabled dormers positioned between them. A central porch with a matching gable is present, along with a half-gabled porch located at the southwest angle of the Schoolmaster's House.
