Description

The Shop at Bateman's is a building originally comprising two round oasthouses with a granary attached, dating from the 19th century and altered in the 20th century. One oasthouse is constructed of red brick with grey headers, while the other is tile-hung. Both have tiled roofs without cowls, and the apex of one oasthouse has been converted into an octagonal wooden pigeon loft. The granary, located to the southeast, is also tile-hung and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and three casement windows.
