Description

The Brickwall Hotel is an L-shaped building that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. It was restored and rebuilt after a fire around 1953. The structure is primarily timber-framed with plaster infilling visible at the back, but most of the exterior has been refaced with red brick. The south front features a ground floor that has been built out, and there are two restored timbered gables. The hotel has a tiled roof with an old red brick chimney stack and includes casement windows. It stands two storeys tall and has four windows.
