Description

Upper Tolhurst is a building located in Ticehurst, with parts dating back to the 17th century or earlier. The rear section features a timber frame that has been refronted with red brick and grey headers on the ground floor, while the upper part is clad in weatherboarding. The building has a tiled roof and is two storeys high, with three casement windows. The front portion of the building was added in the early 19th century, extending half the width of the front, and is constructed using the same materials, but it includes sash windows that still have their original glazing bars.
