Description

Norton’s Farmhouse is a T-shaped house with a complex history, dating to the 17th century or earlier. The original back or west wing is a timber-framed structure, with the ground floor now faced in red brick and the upper portion tile-hung. It has a steeply-pitched, hipped tiled roof and casement windows. A half-hipped two-storey projection, featuring a porch on the ground floor, is attached. The front of the farmhouse is a 19th-century addition of red brick with three windows.
