Description
The structure consists of a wall, gatepiers, and gates that are located adjoining the south-east forecourt wall to Baylis House. This feature dates from the early to mid 18th century and stands approximately 2.5 metres high, extending about 100 metres to the south-east. It is constructed of red brick, featuring square gatepiers made of red brick with red brick dressings and moulded stone coping. There are two gatepiers to the north-west that support 20th-century wrought iron gates. This structure is included for its group value.
