Description
The Castle Inn is an early 18th-century building that has been altered. It is constructed of colourwashed stone and features a modern tiled roof with coped gables, brick stacks, and a central flat-topped dormer. The building has two storeys and an attic. The central door is flanked by canted bays that have modern casements, with a hipped tile roof linking them to form a porch. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with painted lintels and keystones. To the right, there is a modern single-storey wing, and at the rear, there is a two-storey wing with a two-window elevation facing Yardley Road. The Castle Inn is prominently positioned, facing south down High Street.
