Description
Denbigh Hall Railway Bridge is a Grade II listed structure built in 1837. It features an ashlar faced design that carries the old Midland Railway over Watling Street, leading to Wolverton. The bridge has broad flanking buttress piers at its portals, which are adorned with a dentil cornice and a blocking course that spans a slightly cambered arch. The parapet above is broken forward over the piers. A delicate cast iron geometric pattern balustrade runs between the piers, and similar balustrading is also present on the south abutment walls.
