Description

This chest tomb, located approximately 20 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and has a rectangular shape with a cyma-moulded base. The tomb features reeded fluted corner pilasters at the corners, raised panels on the front and sides, and a moulded top. The inscription on the tomb is not visible.
