Description
The Round House is an early 19th-century small circular toll-house or lodge designed in the cottage orné style. It is constructed of ashlar with a tiled roof and consists of one storey and attics. The building features a metal eaves cornice with a scalloped edge. Its conical roof is made of curved tiles and has an ornamental terracotta chimneystack at the center. There is one hipped dormer facing east. The curved window has two tiers of six lights, with stone mullions, a transom, and leaded lights featuring a fancy quatrefoil design. Additionally, there is a recessed verandah supported by rustic wooden columns and a simple door case.
