Description
Lion Gate is a late 18th century or early 19th century gateway located in the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew. It features a single opening made of yellow gauged brick, topped with a portico above a cornice. At the top of the gate, there is a buff terracotta lion in a reclining position, adorned with a coronet, facing north. This design is comparable to The Unicorn Gate.
