Description

The General Eliott is a public house located on St John's Road in Uxbridge Moor. The building has an early 18th century rear and a front that dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is two storeys high and features three windows, with a projecting left bay that has one window. The exterior is finished in stucco and has a fairly low pitched slated roof. The windows are sash style, with the ground floor windows being tripartite and featuring glazing bars. The left bay includes a projecting canted wooden oriel on the first floor, which holds three sash windows with glazing bars, while there is a modern window below it.
