Description

This is an early 19th century stucco house, originally a single dwelling, now divided into two properties, number 42 and number 44 Stanmore Hill. The house has a large, central porch with a pair of fluted Doric columns. This porch is flanked by two-storey bay windows. The west front features seven windows, with the central three set within a slightly projecting block that has a balustraded parapet, a first-floor iron balcony, and semi-circular heads with good fanlights over the ground floor windows.
