Description

12 and 14 Newton Grove are a pair of houses dating from 1880, designed by M B Adam. They are constructed of red brick with tiled roofs. The properties are two storeys high with attics, featuring gables which project forward at each end, and single-storey bays connecting them. Each house has doorways with large hoods supported by brackets; the doorway of number 12 is in its original position. Gabled dormers and tall brick stacks are prominent. The houses were originally built for the painter J C Dollman.
