Description

Nos 5 to 8 South Parade form a row of buildings dating circa 1882, likely designed by E J May. They are constructed of red brick with tiled roofs, with some areas tile-hung. The buildings are two storeys high, with attics. Nos 5 and 8 have porches and single-storeyed bays featuring timber-railed balconies. The upper storeys of these properties are roughcast. Nos 6 and 7 have paired porches, two-storeyed bays, and tile-hung upper parts. A dormer window has been added to No 8, with decorative detailing. No 5 has an altered bay window, and piers define the front gardens.
