Description
The Church of St Andrew, built in 1885 by James Brooks, features a cruciform plan and is constructed of brick with stone dressings. It has a four-bay nave that includes a triforium, clerestory, and small aisles, along with transepts and a lower three-bay chancel. At the crossing, there is a small bell turret topped with a flêche. The church is noted for its elaborate and spacious design, which includes high-quality contemporary fittings and stained glass.
