They are constructed of stucco and are two storeys high, with No. 52 and 54 each having two windows and No. 54a having one. The buildings have modern shop fronts and tiled roofs. Evidence of earlier timber framing, possibly dating to the 17th century or before, exists at the rear of the buildings.
